Dr. Kaelyn Osburn

I grew up in rural Linden, Alabama, surrounded by animals of all kinds. From the very beginning, animals were simply part of everyday life, and caring for them came naturally. While I was certainly a horse girl at heart, I’ve enjoyed working with cattle, dogs, goats, and just about any animal that needed attention. I’ve long had a soft spot for Rottweilers — loyal and known to be strong-willed— traits I’ve come to appreciate both professionally and personally.
I always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. That calling brought me to Auburn, where I went to school, met my husband, and eventually graduated from veterinary school in 2022. Auburn quickly became home, and since graduating, I’ve been caring for pets and their people throughout the surrounding area, working mostly with small animals and building the kind of relationships that make this work so meaningful.
These days, life is full in the very best way. I’m a mom to two young children — one boy and one girl — and our household includes three dogs who keep us all on our toes.
A mixed-animal ambulatory practice has long been my dream, and Front Porch Veterinary Services is the first step toward that goal. I’m starting with wellness care, with hopes to grow thoughtfully over time. What I love most about this work is getting to know clients and their animals, forming real connections, and working together to make the best decisions for each pet and family.
My approach to veterinary care is simple: treat every animal like they’re my own, take the time to listen, and offer honest, compassionate guidance. I’m DEA-registered and USDA-accredited, and I’m committed to providing personalized, professional care in a calm, familiar setting — right at home, where your animals are most comfortable.
