Front Porch Veterinary Services provides mobile veterinary care for small animals, horses, and select hobby farm pets in Auburn and surrounding areas. Services are focused on wellness, preventative care, and compassionate end-of-life support, all provided in the comfort of your home.

Small Animal Services (Dogs & Cats)

Wellness & Preventive Care

• Comprehensive wellness examinations
• Core and lifestyle-based vaccinations
• Puppy & kitten vaccinations
• Annual heartworm testing
• Feline FIV/FeLV testing
• Wellness bloodwork
• Fecal analysis and parasite screening
• Nail trims and anal gland expression
• Preventative medications including ProHeart® and Bravecto®

Chronic Disease Management

• Medication Management: Prescription management, refills, and dosage guidance.
• Nutritional Support: Diet plans to complement medical treatment and improve quality of life.
• Ongoing Monitoring: Regular check-ups and treatment adjustments.
• Owner Education: Tips for at-home care and symptom management.
• Telemedicine Follow-ups: Convenient virtual consultations for continuous care.

Non-Urgent Sick Visits

• Allergies and chronic itching
• Skin and ear infections
• Hot spots
• Minor wounds or lacerations
• Mild gastrointestinal concerns
• General discomfort or changes in behavior
• Non-urgent lameness, arthritis management

(Emergency and critical care cases should be directed to a full-service veterinary hospital.)

Not providing services to production animals/livestock at this time

Diagnostic & Laboratory Services

• Reference lab testing
• Wellness blood panels
• Heartworm testing
• Fecal analysis

• Coggins testing
• Select diagnostic screening as appropriate

Health Certificates

• Domestic (interstate) health certificates
• Travel documentation for pets within the United States

(International health certificates are not offered.)

End-of-Life Care & Euthanasia

Compassionate, in-home euthanasia services are provided with dignity, privacy, and care.

• Gentle end-of-life consultations
• In-home euthanasia for small animals
• Aftercare arrangements handled thoughtfully and respectfully. Coordinated with Pet Angel.

Preventives & Online Pharmacy

• Access to an online pharmacy for convenient ordering of:
  • Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
  • Long-term medications
  • Prescription diets (as appropriate)

Medications can be delivered directly to your home.

What We Do NOT Offer

To ensure the highest standard of care, Front Porch Veterinary Services does not provide:

• Surgery or dental procedures
• Emergency or critical care services
• Advanced imaging
• International health certificates
• Production animal services

When needed, referrals to local full-service veterinary hospitals are recommended.
